Free Car Seats for Portage County Families
Portage County residents may be eligible to receive a FREE car seat through the Safe Mobility Project from Akron Children’s Hospital!
To participate, you must: be a Portage County resident, be a parent or legal guardian, be benefit eligible.
Ready to register? Contact Sarah at 330-543-1595. Participants must register by Friday, November 27. Car seat distribution will take place Friday, December 11 from 10:00 - 12:00 pm at the Garrettsville Library.
Pop-Up Food Pantry! Drive-Thru Style Food Pantry - Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank
Join us for a Drive-Thru food pantry! The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank will provide pre boxed shelf stable items and fresh produce, in a drive-thru selection method. Food pantries are the second Thursday of every month from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at the Garrettsville Library starting on Thursday, July 9.
